We are almost done in purchasing all of the gear we need for our trip.  Thanks to a fantastic dividend from REI and money back on some returns our most recent trip to REI cost us only about $25.00 compared to the $300.00 price at the register.  To date we have acquired:

Update

Travel plans are moving forward…Contacted IDE on Friday about the possibility of volunteering with them while in Honduras or Nicaragua throughout our trip.
